Member - A Wright Evening: Tan-y-deri and Hillside Theater
Friday, June 1
5:30 – 9 pm
Guests have the rare opportunity to experience the restored Tan-y-Deri while enjoying a wide array of delicious, organic fare catered by Enos Farms. This nearby farm is named for Wright’s Uncle Enos who is also the great-great-grandfather of the farmer/owner. There will be time to learn about the restoration, wander the gardens and visit the Romeo and Juliet windmill. The evening continues with a performance at Hillside Theater. Jenni Reinke, of Milwaukee’s Quasimondo Physical Theater, performs her original dance theater show “Mrs. Wrights,” which explores the women in Frank Lloyd Wright’s life.
Parking for the evening’s events will be at the Frank Lloyd Wright Visitor Center. Shuttle service will be provided from the Visitor Center to Tan-y-Deri and Hillside School.
